Skylar Jeffries

Skylar Jeffries joined CIEE in 2023. As Associate Director on the High School Outbound team, Skylar supports school relationships and student engagement across several states—including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky—where she works to expand access to academically aligned study abroad opportunities for high school students and educators.

Before joining CIEE, Skylar taught Italian as a World Language in the New York City Department of Education beginning in 2017. She remains an active member of the Italian Teachers’ Association of New York City and Westchester, where she has served as Board President since 2022.

Skylar earned her master’s degree in Teaching and Multilingual/Multicultural Learning and her bachelor’s degree in Italian and Linguistics from New York University. She is based in New York’s Hudson River Valley
