Sabrina Small

Sabrina Small serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for High School Outbound programs bringing a decade of dedicated experience in international education, student leadership, youth-led advocacy and global citizenship. Driven by a strong passion for youth, travel, storytelling and content creation, she hosts CIEE’s podcast and previously worked as a reporter and co-producer for a show.

In her current role, Small coordinates both the Global Ambassador and Ambassador Abroad programs, managing CIEE’s online community, driving strategic outreach, and equipping students with the tools to speak out and advocate for global education within their local schools and communities.

With ten years in the global education field, Small has taught English abroad and traveled to over 12 countries, consistently leveraging her media and communication background to build innovative programming centered on global impact. She has successfully guided student cohorts through the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) curriculum in the U.S and abroad empowering young leaders and taking them to participate in UN Youth Day events. Demonstrating a deep commitment to service-learning and civic action, she has also organized direct relief efforts, including fundraising campaigns for hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico.

Small holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, equipping her with the expertise to navigate academic systems, support diverse student populations, and build dynamic global communities. Known for her thoughtful approach to community-building, she brings deep intention and purpose to every initiative she leads.
