Sara Hart

Sara brings nearly 20 years of experience in higher and international education, with a career spanning residence life, academic advising, first-year writing program administration, international education, and institutional relations. She has served in both inbound and outbound international education roles, including leading a comprehensive study abroad office and serving as a Principal Designated School Official (PDSO). Sara joined CIEE four years ago as an Institutional Relations Manager and now serves as Director of Institutional Relations, National Partners, supporting a team of Institutional Relations Managers and Admissions Advisors and working closely with CIEE’s college and university partners. In this role, she is particularly passionate about expanding access to meaningful international experiences and helping institutions connect students with opportunities that support their academic, personal, and professional growth. A proud first-generation college graduate, Sara holds a BA in English and French and an MS in Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Vincent College. She is based just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
